Public Apology

I have been told that i needed to make a public apology to Coeburncane for using the PM's where we talked or be ban.

So i offer my apology, to Coeburncane.

I didn't realize anything we spoke of, was secret or things not already discussed either here on this forum or by many when they got together..

However, i was wrong in putting it on the forum what we discussed.

I just felt it may end, some of the double talk, and back stabbing that goes on on here. As everyone would see what was said.

I will admit i was wrong in adding Cane's responses. But i felt Cane would also, not want anything thing left for speculation. So i added both our comments.

I myself only talk about this forum publically anymore, when my daughter in law mentions it.
As her father frequents it, and talks about it, and one of his employees or former employees.
And once in a blue moon when me and my nephew talk mention it.
Other than that i never mention, it or even ask folks, to visit it, or to register anymore.

Even though you said you didn't have to respond to any PM's.
I'm sure that was just while you was a regular poster and not a moderator.
And i'm sure i am the first person you have ask to do a public apology.

I do offer my apology. And i hope you can accept that.

And i do have one last request of you. If you would please answer the last PM i sent you.
As a person who wants to see this forum run correctly, and a former passionate member of the Coeburn Crazies, i ask that, just out of your respect for doing what is right.

I dont know that its so much a rule as a courtesy. After all, its a private message, so its always good to at least consult the person if you are going to post there thoughts/opinions. After all, thats why its a PM and not posted on the board

Why would anybody answer a question of yours? All you do is dodge them when people ask them to you, especially the ones you know your wrong on which equates to about 75% of them. Really what respect I had for you I lost tonight, your worthless man. Since you refuse to respond to my pm's after you send me something like that this is the only way I can tell you what I think.

I think it's about time you deal with the PVFAN child. His ego is buying him less.
He goes on a crusade once again. After talking down to most folks from the same area. Like most will believe he is sincere.
I think it's time you deal with him. He plays both sides and then tries to make himself look correct.
No one has dodged any thing. Yet again.
Darrell is doing what. Harrassing. And all i ask him to do was never to PM me or address me in a post again.
I think it's time he is told to just grow up. The world don't revolve around his wants and wishes. Nor what he preceives as right and wrong.
I even ask him the same question i ask Cane since he likes to make acqusations. Yet no answers. Hmm. Seems he just can't produce no answers of any kind when he is ask.
And as he said. I could care less.
I told the young man what i think. And many know him and know how his ego is. He's right your wrong. Even if he is wrong.
That kind of ego no one can reason with. I quit trying. Hence the do not reply or respond to me in PM.

First of all, let it be known to anyone that reads this post that LPDFTBL/Bobby was not asked for a "public" apology by me. I asked him man-to-man to apologize because it's kind of an unspoken rule that if you have a conversation w/someone via PM that it will stay private. Thusly the term PM = "private message". Just as Rock said--that's the whole thing that upset me immensely was that in the past...not now mind you...but in the past you came across as someone who had integrity enough to not do something like that. Now...you've proven you have zero integrity when it comes to following rules, written or unwritten.

You can take this backhanded-laden apology and stuff it. If you did it of your own volition because you feel you were wrong, then so be it. But you once again wanted to make a spectacle out of something that could have stayed simple between you and I.

I want to break this part down directly:

Apology not accepted.
No one has to respond to a PM sent to them ever--it's a little thing called free will...wonderful thing.
As for not responding to your all of TWO PM's that you sent to me in 2006, I worked as an Accountant in early 2006, and you sent me a PM on 4/11/06 that I did not respond to...remind the board what the busiest time of the year is for an Accountant? You guessed it--April, all month long. I worked as a Financial Analyst when you sent me the last PM on 12/23/06 that I did not respond to...also remind the board what the busiest time of the year is for a Financial Analyst? Yep--December, because I was stuck in meetings and conference calls discussing the budget planning for 2007. So in your head--I ignored those on purpose...but there never was a thought that I didn't have a valid reason for not responding. If you're sore over two non-responses on PM's, then we need to make a whole new forum on here called "The Sandbox" for whiny kiddy people like yourself.
And once again--for the record--I DID NOT ASK FOR A PUBLIC APOLOGY. You knew I didn't like that you posted a PM between us on open forum--it should have been common sense to say simply "I'm sorry for that" via a PM...but you decided to make it a major deal.

As for the question you want answered...who was saying you're a drunk? About 100% of the posters on here that I know that know someone from Appy that knows you have said you have a drinking problem, and that you've been known to suck down your fair share while posting late at night. I cannot remember the screenname, but there was a poster once upon a time before we updated the board that told me via PM that he was at your house and witnessed you with 10th beer in once hand and sitting at the computer, getting ready to type up another responce.

Guess what--I never held that against you if it's true or not, because I don't know if that was a credible source. I never mentioned it in open board though others may have intimated & hinted at it. Maybe if your actions in front of people from Appy were a smidgeon better, you'd wouldn't have to worry about someone on this board hearing tale of a possible drinking problem. Look around in your own neck of the woods, as the rumor that you had a possible drinking problem originated from people that know you in Appy. You want to know the source? Look around and ask some of your own. Maybe they're wrong.

However--alcohol aside--you've posted like a [censored] on here for 2 weeks straight because you feel it will some how "fix something". Your rants are incoherent and you ask about 52 questions in one sentence. You complain without offering up solutions. All of that could be understandable and even forgivable IF you indeed do have a drinking problem...but you claim you don't, so that makes it even more sad that you're acting like this sober...

Here's the solution. You're gone for publishing PM's in open forum, and in spite of some positive contributions to this board, your overall chaotic way of posting for these past few weeks has degraded this board to the point of driving off several posters and causing many of us nothing but grief--and detracted from the enjoyment of everyone from the board. I have no guarantees that you would be any better in the long run even after a ban, so it's an indefinite banning. I'm not sure if/when you will be back.

A few words of advice so this possibly doesn't happen again--maybe you'll think about this harder if/when you come back:

Not everything is a conspiracy.

Not everyone is out to get you.

Don't disrespect the right someone else has to a private conversation, no matter what the content.

Don't abuse your right to say something when it detracts from the conversation as a whole.

You're not always right.

Stew on that and have a nice vacation.
